Actress Hyeon Junie has been cast for the baseball movie "Perfect Games" with Jo Seung-woo and Yang Dong-geun.
"Perfect Game" is about the greatest pitchers in Korean baseball, Seon Dong-yeol and Choi Dong-won and their frendship, played by Yang Dong-geun and Jo Seung-woo.
Hyeon Junie's role is Seo Hyeong's (Choi Jeong-won) friend, a tough Busan Lotte fan who quits her job because it doesn't let her take a break from work when she wants to go a baseball game.
The production says,"Hyeon Junie is perfect for the role of a 'full force' Busan Lotte fans as she is very clear in her own color and existence".
Hyeon Junie was commented very favorably in the drama "IRIS" when she played the role of a cold city girl who was confused between love and met a tragic end. She also did very well in the drama "I Am A Legend" with her peculiar voice and musical talents.
The cast includes not only Hyeon Junie but Choi Jeong-won, Lee Byeong-joon and others. The shoot started in the beginning of August and is planned to be released in December.
